SEAPAC ELECTS NEW SET OF OFFICERS: Sen. Edgardo J. Angara, founding member of the South East Asian Parliamentarians Against Corruption (SEAPAC), and Dr. Naser Al-Sane (left), Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) chairman and former member of the Kuwaiti Parliament, administer the oath of office to Philippine Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri as newly-elected treasurer, and Dr. Benny K. Harman of Indonesia (far right), as the new vice president, respectively. Angara retains his seat as SEAPAC president. Participants of the GOPAC SEAPAC conference, held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, were on hand to discuss their respective country’s anti-corruption initiatives.
