Review traffic management scheme: Sen. Mark A. Villar pushes for the review of the traffic management scheme in the country to further reduce traffic congestion, particularly in Metro Manila’s major thoroughfares. During Tuesday’s hearing December 10, 2024 of the Committee on Public Services, Villar expressed his full support to the transport sector and to the committee for conducting the hearing. “I would like to express my support for this committee's hearing, especially since Christmas is approaching and we really need to review our traffic management scheme to see what else we can do to reduce traffic congestion. So this hearing is really very timely,” Villar pointed out. “For ride services, we need to see how we can further regulate the use of these services to protect our commuters,” he added.
