Two tennis athletes commended: Sen. Pia Cayetano extols two tennis athletes for their exceptional contributions and achievements in the Philippine sports, particularly in tennis. Cayetano sponsored Senate Resolution No. (SRN) 1299 congratulating and commending Johnny Arcilla for his exceptional career in the sport of tennis and for his recognition as the Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) Hall of Famer; and RSN 1300 congratulating and commending Marian Jade Capadocia for her exceptional career in the sport of tennis and for her recognition as the Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) Hall of Famer. “These are real life heroes who deserve the spot light. Shining examples for the next generation of athletes from humble beginnings and continue to stay humble despite their exceptional achievements,” Cayetano said during Wednesday’s plenary session, February 5, 2025. “Again, I congratulate Johnny Arcilla and Marian Capadocia for their well-deserved recognition as PCA hall of famers and for their contributions to the Philippine tennis and Philippine sports,” she added.
