REVILLA AT THE FOREFRONT OF POLITICAL TRUCE IN CAVITE
Unifies political fronts in unity accord

In an unprecedented development, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. has initiated a welcome move in ending decades-long political turmoil in the Province of Cavite.

Revilla have made the three political stalwarts of the province reached an unprecedented truce for the sake and welfare of Cavite and its residents.

Over the weekend, Revilla had been in the thick of unity talks with two of the provinces political stalwarts - the Maliksis and the Remullas to finally join hands and work together to push a common agenda and platform for the development and progress of the Province.

The senator reached out his hands to his political rivals and offered the table for unity to move the province to greater heights. The senator said all the warring political factions in Cavite all aim for the provinces growth and this being so there is no sense to waste each others time and efforts on political bickering.

Successful were the talks that it resulted to a refreshing development in the geopolitical scene of Cavite all three stalwarts have reached an accord in the political make up of the upcoming local election by a possible formation of an unopposed unity ticket.

The equity of the incumbent had been given weight along the talks; all three political families were in agreement that for the purpose of continuity, Maliksi, who shall be serving his third and final term, should be given the chance to carry on with his programs for Cavite.

Both the Revillas and the Remullas will no longer be fielding any candidates in the gubernatorial and vice-gubernatorial race, with all camps further agreeing that as much as possible, no opposing candidates will be fielded in the respective local races.

It was a very tough process to undergo since admittedly, all three of us have political stakes in the province. But as I have said before, a lot has already been wasted on politicking. Why waste time and opportunities in personal and political wrangling when in the summation of all things, we all but want to steer the wheel of progress for Cavite and its people? Revilla said. This is also the concurrence of the two other parties, hence the unification agreement, the Senator added.

Local leaders have sigh a breath of relief over this welcome development since at the onset of election campaign they have been split over the then possibility of a three-cornered fight in the province. A former mayor said in the political make up of Cavite, this has been so far the best that has happened. This development augurs well for the entire province and its people. It is a convergence of dreams for Cavite from among its best leaders, former Carmona mayor and now incumbent KAMPI Provincial Chairman Roy Loyola said.

This unity agreement among the Revillas, Remullas and Maliksis is seen to stabilize and sustain the growth of the province through peaceful process. All camps are optimistic that they will set the precedence in the country to finally attain the real growth which has been long overdue across the country.
