On Abalos resignation...

SJEE: I admire him for the courage that he did this afternoon by resigning effective immediately. For me that is an act of statesmanship.

Absolution of the crime?

SJEE: No. The Senate can still continue to investigate, especially now that he resigned from public office.

What compelled him to resign?

SJEE: That I do not know. Maybe, the pressure, the stunning evidence against him. As a fellow mayor before, I really have high respect for him when he was still mayor of Mandaluyong. I still admire him up to now.

Dakila siya?

SJEE: Ah hindi. When he was mayor

Can he turn into state witness?

SJEE: Well, I do not know. He can. If he can divulge all the anomalies of the ZTE contract and who were the people behind the makings of this contract.

Nagulat ba kayo?

SJEE: Hindi. Actually, nung nagpe-presscon siya, sabi ko, "mukhang magre-resign 'to." Nag-resign nga.
