Sen. Jinggoy urges prayers for the Saguisags

Senate President Pro-Tempore called on the people to pray for the soul of Dulce Saguisag, the wife of former Senator Rene Saguisag who died early yesterday morning after their vehicle was rammed by a speeding dump truck in Makati City .

Estrada urged citizens to also pray for the immediate recovery of Sen. Saguisag, his driver Philip Calvario, and another companion dance instructor Imelda Obong who are all being treated at the Makati Medical Center (MMC).

"I also expressed by deepest condolences to the family of Sen. Saguisag for the untimely death of Mrs. Saguisag," he said.

Estrada, who rushed to the MMC along with Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay to check of Sen. Saguisag's condition, said the former senator and the two other victims are still in critical condition.

"Let us all hope and pray that Saguisag and the others will immediately recover from their injuries," Estrada added.
