SFNP. Sa halip na makipag debate sa UN, dapat siguro tingnan natin ano ang dapat nating gawin, kasi maaring sabihin mali, kasi maaring sabihing 'di tayo sumasang ayon. Pero wala pa din mga kasong sinasampa, wala pa ring salaring dinadakip, wala pa rin nakukulong dito sa mga extra judicial killings na ito, ano ang isasagot nyo ngayon sa tanong na yun, bakit walang nanagyayari, kase dahil 'di kaya ng gobyerno? Ganun ba o mahina ang gobyerno o walang saysay ang gobyerno, yun ba ang sagot? Eh 'di tama yung pupunahin ang UN, dapat sagutin nila ang tanong, bakit walang nakukulong bakit walang nahuhuli, bakit walang napaparusahan bakit walang sinasampahan ng reklamo, ng kasong criminal, kung armed forces ito , bakit walang mga iniimbestigahan na mga men in uniform, bakit 'di sinasampahan ng mga kaso sa ating mga military tribunals for violations of the articles of war, ang mga 'di umanong involve dito sa extra judicial killings na ito.

Q. Anong epekto ng Alston Report na ito sa national image ng pilipinas?

SFNP: Well obviously it just confirmed na matagal na talaga ang issue na extra judicial killings, ang trip ni pangulong arroyo sa Europa, I think a year ago, ni reraise na itong issue na ito sa EU, nagpadala pa nga sila ng mga kinatawan o representatives na tumingin sa sitwasyon dito, this merely confirms what everybody else knows all along which the government has been denying, that extra judicial killing are happening and we are not doing enough about it as a government, the government is not doing enough to address it and to find the perpetrators

Q.Will the Alston report, be in the hearing, in the budget?

SFNP: I think the issue will be raised and we will ask the department of national defense and the armed forces what they are doing about it, what they intend to do about it and the same with the office of the president.

Q.Pero hindi tayo puedeng isanction ng UN pag di umaksyon ang government?

SFNP: Well of course we have a commitment with the UN, we are and we should be concerned about this report, because kasama tayo sa international community of nations, and this should have a bearing in our efforts to curve and to address squarely itong laganap na pagpatay
