STATEMENT OF SENATOR MAR ROXAS ON THE SENATE APPROVAL OF MINIMUM WAGE TAX EXEMPTION BILL

"Our workers have long been awaiting this measure. I commend ways and means committee chairman Sen. Chiz Escudero and my other Senate colleagues for prioritizing this bill that we had filed.

"I look forward to bicameral deliberations on this bill seeking to exempt minimum wage earners from income taxes. Both House and Senate agree to provide workers with the much-need relief in this time of crisis."
