STATEMENT OF SENATOR M.A. MADRIGAL ON THE DEATH OF PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO

I join the Filipino nation in condoling with Senator Noynoy, Kris and all the members of the family of President Cory Aquino. President Aquino was a beacon of democracy and strength for all Filipinos.

As we mourn as a nation, let us not forget to continue her struggle for genuine peace and democracy.
