MALACANANG HAS MISPLACED PRIORITIES--KIKO PANGILINAN

Independent senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan questions Malacanang's intentions behind its reported bidding for a P1 billion jet plane.

"Ipapamana ba ito ng ating pangulo sa susunod sa kaniya? At pinaka-importanteng katanungan, kailangan ba ng ating pamunuan ang ganitong luho?"

Pangilinan says that the government must instead focus in ensuring a smooth transition from the president's term to her successor in 2010.

"This administration must show in its last days of office the dignity and conduct that come with the highest position in the land."
