ON CHEMICAL LEAK IN BATANGAS THIS MORNING:

The death of 3 people and the exposure of hundreds to deadly chemical fumes in Bauan, Batangas is due to another marine accident. This shows how inept and incompetent our government is in regulating toxic substances harmful to the people and the environment. This marine tragedy is no different from previous marine tragedies which the coast guard, marina officials and ship owners are to blame, which shows the blatant disregard with safety standards and procedures. This tragedy should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest. Kailangan may managot sa trahedyang ito.
