ANGARA LEADS GROUNDBREAKING OF RESERVA
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S SPORTS COMPLEX

Senator Edgardo J. Angara led the groundbreaking ceremony today for the new sports complex of the Reserva Elementary School located at Brgy. Reserva, Baler, Aurora.

The sports complex facility will be situated in the area between the Reserva Elementary School and Aurora National High School. The facility would include track oval, swimming pool, basketball court and structures to house sporting events.

"This 20-million project will serve as the training ground of many of our young athletes who wish to join local and international athletic competitions like the Palarong Pambansa," Angara said.

He added, "It will benefit not only the school community but the entire municipality as it will serve as a venue for sporting events and other social functions of the municipality."

Angara has long been pushing for the establishment of modern training facilities in Baler to strengthen the municipality's sports program and to encourage the out-of-school youth to engage in sports.

Other officials who witnessed the event were Aurora Governor Bellaflor Angara-Castillo, Rep. Juan Edgardo Angara, Baler Mayor Arthur Angara, Brgy. Captain Gina Agapito, ANSHS Principal Alberto Nortez, Principal Wilma Turgo, faculty members and students of the school.
