Sorties sharpen Villar tack vs RP's woes

Nacionalista Party (NP) standard-bearer Manny Villar said that his visits to the country's different provinces have strengthened his resolve to address poverty experienced by most Filipinos.

"Our visits to our country's provinces not only allow us to feel the pulse of our people but also help us further in formulating appropriate solutions to their particular concerns," Villar said.

The NP concluded Wednesday its market and campus tours in Cavite on a positive note.

According to Villar, their weeks of campaigning throughout the country also fostered strong unity among NP members, making the team solid and focused on fulfilling the NP vision of poverty alleviation.

"Matagal-tagal na rin tayong umiikot sa iba't ibang mga lugar sa bansa at mas lalo lamang nagiging detalyado ang ating mga naiisip na solusyon sa mga problema sa iba't ibang lalawigan (We have been going around the country for quite a long time already and we are coming up with more detailed solutions to the problems of various provinces)," he said.
