ON SECRETARY RONALD LLAMAS' WILLINGNESS TO RESIGN

Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Ronald Llamas need not resign. Secretary Llamas has already taken swift action on the matter. He has terminated those involved in the incident and has submitted himself to the Philippine National Police for investigation. This is proof that he does not see himself or his people as being above the law.

We welcome his willingness to resign but we believe resignation is not necessary.
