CAYETANO: PITIK, HINDI PITIKAN

"PiTiK, hindi pitikan." This was the message of Senator Alan Cayetano today as he joined Team PNoy in their sortie in Pampanga.

Cayetano was responding to the word war between Team PNoy campaign manager Senator Franklin Drilon and United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) Congressman Toby Tiangco. Team PNoy had called UNA a crybaby for complaining about the latest SWS survey results where 9 out 12 Team PNoy candidates were in the Top 12.

Senator Alan Cayetano said he was not getting involved in that word war as it only makes the campaign turn ugly and frivolous.

"Sa pag-iikot ko, ang naririnig ko sa taumbayan, kailangan nila ng trabaho at sana bumaba ang presyo ng mga bilihin. Wala naman silang pakialam sa mga survey," Cayetano explained.

Nevertheless Cayetano was thankful that he was ranked steadily at number 3. "I want the fight against corruption to translate to greater economic benefits for the poor, and I think the people know that I am continuing to fight for their cause," he said.

Cayetano went on a listening tour in Bulacan today with stops at the Office of the Governor and the Barasoain Church, and a meeting with the senior citizens of Bulacan. He joined the Team PNoy rally in San Fernando and Guagua in Pampanga.
