Press Release August 18, 2015 JV EJERCITO: ENRILE'S BAIL GRANT TIMING GOOD FOR MINORITY The timing of the Supreme Court grant of Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile's petition for bail is good for the members of the Senate Minority, Senator JV Ejercito today said. "It would boost the Minority if Senator Enrile would be permitted to resume his responsibilities as a senator, especially in the scrutiny of the 2016 national budget and for the plenary debates on the substituted Basic Bangsamoro Law next week," the solon said. Ejercito shared that the Minority Leader has been diligently studying the BBL while in detention at the Camp Crame Hospital. "Senator Enrile's calibre will be useful for the Minority, especially on such a controversial measure as BBL," he added. |
