World Class Philippine Infrastructures And Hospitality Guarantees To APEC Summit Success--Marcos

Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. has high hopes for a successful Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit on the strength of our world-class infrastructures suited to host such events and the world-renowned hospitality Filipinos have.

The said summit, which will culminate with the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting from November 18-19, 2015 in Manila, will mark the second time the Philippines will host the event the first being in 1995 during the term of then-President Fidel V. Ramos.

Marcos opined that the Philippines can host such a massive event in the nation's capital as it has always done in the past because one of the major venues for the summit, the Philippine International Convention Center, was specifically built to host grand international affairs.

"The PICC is the first of its kind in the country, and the first international convention center in Asia - a testament to the Philippines' progressive ambitions and aspirations."

Sen. Marcos believes, "Our natural hospitality, friendliness and compassion, our uniquely Filipino brand of service is world class. We just have to reach into our hearts for our innate beauty as a people."

"Our highly respected Filipino culture, values and traditions are our assets," Marcos concluded.
