in Commemorating Heroism of Gat Andres Bonifacio

As we commemorate the heroism of Gat Andres Bonifacio, the Supremo of the Katipunan and Hero of the Masses, let us once again find inspiration in his life, which he dedicated in the struggle for a free and prosperous nation.

With independence won at the price of the blood of Bonifacio and our other heroes, the duty rests now on our shoulders to win that second phase of the struggle for our nation to grow and prosper. We can only achieve this if we resolve to free ourselves from factionalism and remain united in working for a better Philippines for all of us.
