LET'S SET ASIDE POLITICAL COLORS FOR GOOD
FOR THE COUNTRY - BONGBONG

Vice presidential candidate Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong R. Marcos Jr. today said political leaders should take a conscious effort to take aside political colors for the good of the country.

In an interview after the Go Negosyo Talks series on vice presidential candidates in Makati City Monday night, Marcos said it is important that political leaders show the people that they can give service without any political consideration.

He pointed out that the past administrations have not been able to unite the Filipino people and instead sowed divisiveness which is the reason why the country has not moved forward.

If elected to the vice presidency, Marcos said he will lead efforts to effect unity by working closely with the next president whoever he or she is. He said it is of primary importance that the next president and vice president should be able to work together to effect real and effective change for the good of the Filipino people.

Marcos had earlier said he can work with any of the presidentiables.

"I can work with any of the presidential candidates. Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago is my partner. Secretary Mar Roxas is a friend, a cousin of my wife. Vice President Jejomar Binay and I are from the north so we are natural allies. Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is a good friend of mine. Senator Grace Poe is my sister in government. We are good friends," he said.
