BONGBONG MARCOS TO VOTERS: WOULD YOU LIKE CHANGE
OR THE STATUS QUO?

Vice Presidential candidate Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos, Jr. has challenged voters to choose between change or the status quo when they cast their votes on Monday.

Coming on the heels of his successful miting de avance in Mandaluyong City on Thursday, Vice Presidential candidate Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos, Jr. said the people should give the verdict on the performance of the current Administration through their ballots on Monday.

"Huwag po nating kalimutan sa Lunes na ito, ang pagpipilian na lang natin ay ang progreso o dating gawi. Ang pagpipilian natin ay malasakit o walang pakialam, walang iniisip na pagtulong at namumulitika kahit ang nakataya ay buhay ng tao," Marcos expressed.

Marcos made the statement before the people of Tacloban City over the weekend as they again displayed another show of force to show their support to their fellow Waray. Some 10,000 cheering supporters welcomed him in a rally at Tacloban City's Convention Center.

Marcos assessed that the enthusiastic response he received from Tacloban City residents and the huge number of the people that attended all his rallies all over the country indicated the Filipino's clear choice for change.

He exhorted the people of Tacloban to show their displeasure at the Administration for its failure to fulfill promises of speedy and adequate relief and rehabilitation of communities devastated by super typhoon Yolanda.

Marcos said the Filipino people should be wise in their choice of leaders and should pick those who would truly serve the people and work for a better future for them.

"Maliwanag na maliwanag ang inyong ninanais. Iparinig ninyo ang inyong boses. At huwag kayong papayag na nakawin ang boto ninyo," he said.

Marcos likewise urged all voters to take active steps to protect their votes amid concerns of possible attempts to manipulate the results of the election.

Earlier, Marcos accused the Administration of manipulating survey results to create a trend and condition the mind of the voters that its bets are gaining on the leaders. He warned that this could be the first step in a plot to cheat in the elections.
