Statement of Sen. Trillanes on Gen Año's appointment as DILG secretary

Gen. Año's appointment as DILG is a welcome development. His numerous accomplishments as a military officer are true measures of his leadership, character and competence which are much needed for new his assignment. I only hope hindi sya ilaglag ni Duterte sa CA gaya ng ginawa nya kay Gina Lopez.
