Led by Senators Sonny Angara and Joel Villanueva, the Sentinels managed to finish with a seven point win against the previously undefeated Boosters, 84-77.

However, the Sentinels bounced back with consecutive 3-point shots from Flaminiano and closed the first half with an 8 point lead, 45-37.

The Sentinels were able to take control of the game maintaining their lead, 64-56.

The Boosters were able to trim the deficit to 1 during the fourth quarter, 77-76, but it was Angara's clutch shooting towards the end of the game that cemented the Senate team's victory.

"Our win today is our motivation to improve and prepare for our upcoming games," Sentinels playing coach Rodel Dascil said.

Sentinels Head coach Mike Fermin also said that he was very proud of what his players have accomplished and hoped to continue their winning streak throughout the competition.
