Dela Rosa encourages voters 'to investigate in aid of election'

SENATOR Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa has asked Filipinos to conduct their own "investigation in aid of election" in choosing the country's next president in May 2022.

In an online interview, Dela Rosa urged the electorate to vote for the right presidential candidate who possesses the capability to lead the country in the next six years after the May polls.

Dela Rosa, who was elected to the Senate by more than 19 million Filipinos and ranked fifth in the 2019 senatorial election, said the electorate should thoroughly and diligently scrutinize the character of all candidates for president in order not to make a mistake in choosing the highest leader of the land.

He said the people should not just rely on the propaganda of the candidates, but instead, conduct their own research to determine who among them possesses the qualities of a leader deserving of the public mandate and trust.

The Mindanaoan senator added, "Alam na ninyo 'yan.
