Pablo Angeles David
Senator Pablo A. David was born in Bacolor, Pampanga on August 17, 1889 to Carlos Angeles and Ceferia David. He attended the private school of Don Modesto Joaquin in Bacolor from 1900 to 1901. He completed his secondary course at the Liceo de Manila in 1906. Later he enrolled at the Escuela de Derecho where he received his degree of Bachelor of laws in 1910. He passed the bar examinations the same year. He was the youngest practicing attorney in the Philippines in that year, he having been admitted to the bar at the age of 21.
Before becoming provincial governor of Pampanga, he held the position of Justice of the Peace of Bacolor (1912); deputy provincial fiscal (1913); chairman, Census Board in Pampanga (1918); member provincial board, (1916-1919) and representative for the first district of Pampanga, 1919 to 1922. He was elected Governor of Pampanga in 1931 and reelected in 1934.
He served as senator from 1947-1953.
