BURNING OF ILLEGAL DRUGS: Senate Committee on Public Order and Illegal Drugs Chairman Franklin M. Drilon today presided over the burning of more than P90 million worth of seized illegal drugs in the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Cavite City . Assistant Secretary Rodolfo Caisip, PDEA deputy director-general for operations, Gen. Anselmo Avenido, Dangerous Drugs Board chairman; and Edgardo Doromal of the PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operatives, assisted Drilon in the preparation before the actual burning of seized shabu, marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy.
