BURNING ISSUES DISCUSSED: Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Nene Pimentel discusses during the Kapihan sa Senado (Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006) burning issues of the day such as the proposal to appoint an opposition nominee to the Comelec, the proposed unity ticket for the 2007 senatorial elections which he said is ridiculous, the Supreme Court final ruling junking the peoples initiative and the plan of administration congressmen to pursue constituent assembly by Christmas time which he said should be pursued only after the mid-term elections but both chambers voting separately.
