GORDON MEETS U.S. SENATORS: Senator Richard J. Gordon meets with US Senators Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii (Left) and Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont (2nd left), and expressed his appreciation to these two influential U.S. Senators for their continued support for the passage of an equity bill for Filipino World War II veterans. Sen. Inouye is the sponsor of S.B. 57, a Senate bill seeking equity for Filipino World War II veterans and is currently the chairman of the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs while Senator Leahy is a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and the chairman of that Committee's Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations.
