PIA GETS SHOT: Senator Pia S. Cayetano gets a vaccine shot for hepatitis A at the very first "Bakuna para sa Kalusugan" (Vaccines for Health) held last September 27 for the Senate staff and their children. The project is an initiative of the senator, chairperson of the committee on health and demography, under her "Pinay In Action" people empowerment program. More than 300 employees, including members of the Senate media, took advantage of discounted rates on vaccines against highly communicable diseases like hepatitis A and B, typhoid fever and influenza.
