SENATOR ROXAS OATHS AS NEW LP PRESIDENT: SENATOR MAR ROXAS takes his oath as new Liberal Party President, with former Senate President Franklin Drilon relinquishing the party presidency effective Friday, November 30. Roxas, in accepting the presidency, praised the LP leaders that came before him, while promising "the best future for our country through the leadership of our party."
