JOY A YEAR AFTER: Without the tension of the past which can be seen on the photo in the backdrop, Senator Bong Revilla carries one of 26 school children who were held hostage last year by businessman Jun Ducat inside a bus parked in front of the Manila City Hall. The lawmaker distributed educational supplies and assistance to hundreds of schoolchildren enrolled at the Musmos Day Care Center, owned by Ducat. It could be recalled that Revilla negotiated for the release of the hostages and surrender of Jun Ducat and cohorts. One of the Ducat’s demands during the hostage-taking incident is the educational support for the children enrolled at Musmos Day Care Center in Parola Compound, Tondo, Manila which he owned.
