EXCHANGE GIFTS: Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada gives Labor Minister Saqr Saeed Gobash of the United Arab Emirates a pin of the Philippine flag and a replica jeep made from Mount Pinatubo ashes as tokens of appreciation. Minister Gobash, on the other hand, provided assurance to Sen. Estrada that he would look on workers’ welfare issues with urgency and harmonize the recruitment process between the two countries. The two officials met during the senator’s five-day official visit to the UAE aimed at improving protection and welfare of OFWs in that country. Sen.
