MEETING IN DAVAO CITY: Liberal President Senator Mar Roxas kisses the hand of Davao Archbishop Fernando Capalla when he met with Mindanao-based members of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) on Saturday in Davao City. During the meeting, Roxas imparted with the Mindanao Church leadership his position that lasting peace must be pursued in line with the universal interest of Filipinos--whether Muslim, Christian or Lumad--and by a government "that rules with the consent of the governed."
