ENRILE COMMEMORATING THE EDSA REVOLUTION: Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile greets President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita and Senator Gregorio Honasan during the 23rd Anniversary of the Edsa Revolution. In his speech, Enrile paid tribute to Col. Tirso Gador and all the soldiers of the Reform the Armed Forces Movement (RAM) who, together with him, played a key role in the “EDSA REVOLUTION.” As he recalled briefly how the first EDSA Revolution began, he urged the Filipinos to celebrate and revive the true spirit of the EDSA Revolution – reform, good government, and unity. “That is the least we can do to honor the nobility and courage of our soldiers and the Filipino people who joined hands in 1986 to redeem our pride as a democratic nation,” Enrile said.
