SP MEETS CHINESE AMBASSADOR: Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile meets the new Chinese Ambassador, Liu Jianchao, during his visit at the Philippine Senate today, March 16. The Chinese Ambassador assured the Senate that he would play an active role in bringing Philippine-Chinese bilateral relations to a higher level of friendship and partnership. The two leaders also discussed the newly-enacted R.A.9522 otherwise known as “The Philippine Archipelagic Baselines Law.”
