AQUINO IN SAMAL: Liberal Party standard bearer Senator Noynoy Aquino touches base with his supporters in Samal Island in Davao del Norte last March 13. The welcome given by the residents was as warm as the weather in the island. They said it was the first time a presidential candidate paid them a visit. A crowd of at least 5, 000 people attended the sortie. The Samal sortie was a part of 4-day trip of the LP bets in Mindanao where Senator Aquino laid his platform to the people of Davao, Cotabato, Zamboanga, Misamis Occidental, Butuan, and Surigao.
