SENATE RECEIVES FIRST COC FROM LAOS: Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile examines the first batch of Certificates of Canvass (COCs) that was delivered to the Senate by Philippine Ambassador to Laos Marilyn Alarilla (right) Tuesday night. Behind him is Senate Secretary Emma Reyes. Alarilla said a total of 171 Filipinos out the 400 registered voters in Laos participated in last Monday’s vote. The Senate will soon receive all COCs and Election Returns (ERs) for the positions of President and Vice President which will later be canvassed during a joint session of Congress soon.
