SENATE COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING: The Senate Education Committee held its organizational meeting today, led by its chairman Senator Edgardo J. Angara. Among the issues raised are the addtional two years in the basic education curriculum, as well as the proposal to change the opening of classes from June to September in order to avoid the rainy season .
