SEN. ZUBIRI AT THE ASIAN FOOD EXPO: Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, author of Organic Agriculture Act of 2010, called on entrepreneurs of the food and beverage business to go back to basics by promoting fresh, healthy and nutritious food to the Filipino diet. In his message at the opening ceremonies of the Asian Food Expo today at the World Trade Center, Zubiri explained that the Organic Agriculture Law provides fiscal incentives, including tax holiday, and zero-rated VAT to organic agriculture producers. The food trade show is open to the public beginning today until September 11, 2010.
