PROSECUTION PRESENTS 11TH WITNESS: Atty. Benito Cataran, director of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Company Registration and Monitoring Department, was presented as the prosecution’s 11th witness in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona, Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Cataran said Corona’s wife, Cristina, was not listed as a stockholder of the Basa-Guidote Enterprises, Inc., a company, which the prosecution said, Cristina allegedly claimed she owned.
