ANGARA'S FIRST SENATE SESSION DAY: Neophyte Senator Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara stood from his chair to strongly endorse the nomination of Senator Franklin M. Drilon for the Senate Presidency during the first day of Session last Monday, describing the latter as the "lawmaker's lawmaker" who has been "a voice of reason, moderation and decency" throughout his life in public service. Angara, who led the day's opening prayer, had likewise seconded the nomination of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano as the next Majority Floor Leader in the Upper Chamber.
