VILLAR ON STATE OF ENVIRONMENT: Senator Cynthia Villar interpellates and poses questions to Senator Loren Legarda's privilege speech 'State of the Environment 2013' at the Senate yesterday. Villar enjoined Legarda and the other senators to check the implementation of various environmental laws and conduct an oversight hearing to review compliance of concerned agencies. The Former Las Pinas Representative, whose river rehabilitation program was recognized by United Nations, cited that "laws are useless if not implemented".
