ISRAELI AMBASSADOR VISITS THE SENATE: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon welcomes Menashe Bar-On, Israel’s Ambassador to the Philippines, during a courtesy call at the Senate, Thursday afternoon. Drilon and Bar-On discussed about the strengthening of bilateral and diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Israel. The Israeli ambassador also took the opportunity to extend his country’s gratitude for the help that the Philippine government has extended to Israel by extending the tour of duty of Filipino peacekeepers in the war-ravaged Golan Heights.
