SENATE COMMENDS OUTSTANDING TEACHERS: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon together with Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano, Senator Koko Pimentel, and Metrobank president Aniceto Sobrepeña, present Senate Resolution no. 207 to the recipients of the Metrobank Foundation Inc Outstanding Teachers Award, September 2. The resolution, which recognizes the heroic dedication of teachers in their selfless pursuit of quality education, also cited the foundation which has honored a total of 316 teachers for the last 29 years. The awardees include: Fely A. Batiloy of the SPED - Integrated School for Exceptional Children, Iloilo City; Mitchel V. Rodriguez of Odiongan Central School, Gingoog City; Cherry G. Vinluan of Guagua Elementary School, Guagua, Pampanga; Rodel C. Sampang of Pedro Guevara Elementary School, Manila; Dominique J. Maquiran of the University of the Philippines High School in Iloilo, Iloilo City; Marcelo T. Otinguey of Ampusongan National High School, Bakun, Benguet; Maria Teresa M. Bautista of Bacnotan National High School, Bacnotan, La Union; Maria Lorna L. Garnace of Philippine Science High School-Eastern Visayas, Palo, Leyte; Alfredo C.
