37TH UNESCO GENERAL CONFERENCE: Senator Loren Legarda, head of the Philippine Delegation to the 37th UNESCO General Conference, together with Philippine Ambassador to France and UNESCO Permanent Delegate Cristina Ortega, presents to Commission on Higher Education Secretary Dr. Patricia Licuanan, also a member of the delegation, a copy of the art catalogue Philippines: Archipel des Echanges (Philippines: Archipelago of Exchanges). The catalogue documents all the art works exhibited during the highly successful run of the Philippine Exhibition at the Musée du Quai Branly from 9 April to 14 July 2013. Legarda, chairman of the Senate Committee on Cultural Communities, sponsored the English translation of the catalogues, which will be donated to various state universities and colleges and libraries throughout the Philippines.
