DRILON SIGNS CONDOLENCE BOOK: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon on Wednesday signed a condolence book for the late South African President Nelson Mandela Wednesday, December 11. Drilon also turned over a resolution to South African Ambassador to the Philippines Agnes Nyamande-Pitso expressing the condolences and sympathies of the Philippine Senate on the death of Mandela, which acknowledges the life of the iconic anti-apartheid advocate, saying that his life “has inspired billions of people all over the world and has sparked collective movements towards genuine socio-political equality across countries regardless of cultural peculiarities.” (PRIB Photo by Joseph Vidal)
