DRILON TURNS OVER DONATED FISHING BOATS TO ILOILO FISHERFOLK: Senate President Franklin Drilon is joined by Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor as he donates the first batch of motorized fishing bancas to be given to Iloilo’s fishing communities whose livelihood were affected by super typhoon Yolanda, during a turnover ceremony held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the town of Concepcion, Iloilo. Drilon, an Ilonggo native, had facilitated the purchase of 100 boats for Iloilo’s fisherfolk after seeing “that their boats and equipment had been swept away by the storms” during his last visit.
