5TH RICE SMUGGLING HEARING: SENATOR Cynthia Villar, chairperson of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, questions Judilyne Lim of DGL Commodities Inc. in Mandaue City, on her alleged involvement in rice smuggling. The senator later held her in contempt for lying before the committee as she continues to deny knowledge in rice smuggling activities. However, Villar said Lim would not be detained as committee members had agreed to file perjury charges against those who will lie during the hearing.
