CELEBRATING WOMEN’S MONTH: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon, together with Senators Pia Cayetano, Nancy Binay and Cynthia Villar, leads the ribbon cutting ceremony of an exhibit entitled " Empowered Filipinas: Raising the Bar" at the Senate today, Monday. The mobile exhibit, which is part of the Women’s Month celebration, celebrates the lives and achievements of Filipino women who have brought the country great honour in different fields and advocacies. Featured persons also at the photo are Miss Universe third-runner up Arielle Arida, former Senator Helena Benitez, international wushu champion Janice Hung, acclaimed film director Hannah Espia and Captain Aimee Carandang, the first Filipina commercial pilot.
