LPPCHEA ANNIVERSARY: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar leads the cleaning of the shoreline of Manila Bay in the Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat Eco-Tourism Area (LPCHEA) during the celebration of its 1st anniversary of its inclusion in the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance. Villar was joined by students from STI Computer School and Las Piñas National High City, both in Las Piñas City, and volunteers from Bureau of Fire and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The Senator has been fighting to preserve LCCHEA, which declared a critical habitat, and has strongly opposed any planned reclamation on the area.
