Villar, keynote speaker in the said event, said the summit is a perfect opportunity for all the players to learn from each other and create a synergy among themselves to advance the growth and development of the halal industry. The senator authored and filed Senate Bill No. 312 or “An Act Creating the Philippine Halal Accreditation and Regulatory Board.” She said they are also currently drafting a consolidated substitute bill that will become the Philippine Halal Act to incorporate similar bills filed by other senators.
